Ann Percival is  a registered nurse who has married her skills as an aromatherapist with her nurse's training.  Ann introduced her knowledge of aromatherapy with conventional nursing in the Cardiology ward and later the Oncology department of her local hospital.  Not only does Ann conduct training sessions for nurses within hospitals on "Aromatherapy and Massage Complementary to Conventional Treatment within Nursing Practice", she also has a successful private practice.

Chapter 2 - The Use of Essential Oils. This chapter explains the ins and outs of essential oils - how they work on an emotional level, how essential oils are absorbed into the body,  information regarding a selection of carrier oils, various methods of how to use essential oils, as well as how to blend essential oils including dilutions.

Chapter 3 - Guide to the Definition of the Properties of Essential Oils
